Précifab is a machining shop specialized in turning and milling for the food, medical and industrial sectors.
As a dedicated machining shop, we manufacture parts of simple to moderate complexity, whether unitary or small and medium production runs, using a structured and methodical approach.
Every project at our machining shop begins with careful review of drawings, a clear analysis of requirements and rigorous planning.
We prioritize process control, strict tolerance management and consistent quality rather than improvisation.
Because in the industry, trust is earned through repeatability. Our human-scale organization allows us to remain accessible, involved and accountable.

OUR STORY
December 1986

Founded in 1986 by Réjean Paul, a machinist from a family of machinists, Précifab was built on expertise passed down through generations and a deep passion for precision machining.
The company began operations in a small shop next to its main client at the time on Boulevard des Grandes-Prairies in Montréal-Nord, where it first specialized in the manufacturing, repair and optimization of store rack components.

Driven by the quality of its work, the rigor of its methods and reliable delivery times, Précifab experienced steady growth. In 1995, the company moved to 1220 Montée de Liesse in Saint-Laurent into a 7,000-square-foot facility before acquiring the adjacent space three years later, expanding to nearly 13,000 square feet.
Over the years, the shop expanded its expertise into other demanding sectors, including food processing and medical manufacturing. To meet growing demand, two shifts — day and evening — were required for several years.

In 2017, Précifab was acquired by Daniel Poirier, who ensured operational continuity, strengthened customer relationships and maintained the high standards that built the company’s reputation.

Précifab enters a new chapter with its acquisition by Pascal and Virginie Tourte. Their objective is clear: continue developing the company and bring it to the next level by focusing on modernization, process optimization and the promotion of internal expertise, while respecting Précifab’s DNA.
